Barb has worked at Johnston Communications since August 2005. She is the Sales Manager of our four locations while her home office is located in Villisca. Barb’s responsibilities as the Sales Manager is to lead our Residential Sales department in new sales, while still maintaining a high retention through customer service.

She serves as a liaison between our customers and our services. Barb understands what motivates customers to buy and knows how to tap into those needs in an effective way. She loves to work with the community and communities that surround her home town. Doing interviews and outreach through with the radio is her favorite!

Barb has been married for over half of her life! She has three kids and three grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren are her life! We couldn’t do what we do, without Barb!
